Stages of Wonder (grades 1-5)
Established in April 1998 - Present
Stages of Wonder was created to address the needs of ALL children in Blaine County Schools, grades one through five, encouraging them to explore the creativity expressed through the theatrical arts. For some students, Stages of Wonder is their first and only contact with the dramatic arts.
New Voices for the Theatre
Established in 2005 - Present
At this point in my life, NEW VOICES has been a deciding factor to what I plan on doing the rest of my life.– Max Kessler, high school playwright, NEW VOICES 2005
NEW VOICES is a project that nurtures middle and high school writers, during an intensive three week workshop, in the art of playwrighting and culminates in the presentation of their work at the Liberty Theatre.
Adult Actor Training
Established in August 1992 - Present
Classes pursue an organic, step-by-step approach to the art and craft of acting. This process, which includes physical tasks, given circumstances, improvisation, monologues and scene work is focused on the creative goal of “living on stage” and its fullest theatrical expression.
ACT II: from class to stage
Established in June 2007
Company of Fools’ ACT II experience provides an outlet for creative energy and an entertaining and fun setting for adults (ages 62 and up) to create and relate – together.
Internship Program
Established in September 1999 – Present
A year long internship provides practical, in-depth professional theatre experience by working in all phases of the theatre – administrative as well as production.
Summer Apprentice Program
Established in June 1997 - Present
The company’s apprenticeship program is an intense, unique, hands on opportunity for graduating high school seniors.
Children’s Acting Classes/ Acting Classes for Middle School Students
Established in June 1997 - Present
Where imagination is the play! These classes celebrate the act of creation as well as build self-esteem and confidence.
Master Classes
Established in June 1997 - Present
Core Company Artists conduct Master classes in acting, voice, creativity, technical theatre and directing at various universities, colleges, schools and nonprofit organizations throughout the United States.
Student Matinees
Established in September 1999 - Present
Company of Fools offers students plays that are both thought provoking and entertaining (no matter what the age!), such as A Year With Frog and Toad, The Pied Piper, Oleanna, A Christmas Carol, The Philadelphia Story and The Seagull.
