The Sisters Rosenweig

What happens when three middle-aged Jewish sisters, originally from Brooklyn, come together in London to celebrate the fifty-fourth birthday of Sara, the eldest, now a brilliant British banker? Lots of laughter, plenty of tears and at least a surprise or two. In the course of one dynamic evening, all three sisters manage to break through their own personal boundaries to redefine themselves. Wendy Wasserstein’s work about transformative love, sisterhood, and life received great praise from its critics for its humor and insight, ultimately winning the playwright an Outer Critics Circle Award and a Tony nomination.
